Indore: In a shocking incident, an employee of a government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH) in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore was arrested for allegedly having unnatural sex with a 25-year-old patient on the pretext of examining him.
The incident occurred at the government-run Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH), Sanyogitaganj police station in-charge Tehzeeb Qazi said.
The accused has been arrested on Tuesday, said, police officials.
The accused, posted at a ward in the hospital, allegedly took the patient, who was suffering from a skin disease, to a toilet on the pretext of examining him, he said.
The accused confined the man in the toilet and had unnatural sex with him, the official said.
Based on a report from the hospital management, a case under sections 342 (confining someone with an intention to commit a crime) and 377 (unnatural sexual act) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused, he said.
As per the media report, while registering a complaint to the police, the victim said he was suffering from a skin disease. Due to this, he came to the government-run hospital Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital (MYH) for his treatment, reports Hindustan.
After getting the OPD registration slip in the hospital, the patient was sent to the skin care department. There were no doctors there, but the accused Mukesh was present there, who asked the victim the reason for coming to the facility. On which the accused asked him to go to the washroom for examination, he forcibly closed the door and then had unnatural sex with the patient.
