New Delhi: The National Board of Examination (NBE) recently issued an invitation for all NBEMS accredited hospitals and institutions to submit applications for the Annual Review of Accreditation 2022.

The NBE has made available the cost schedule, application procedure, and timetable for institutes requesting NBE annual review of ongoing accreditation.

Any hospital in any specialty may receive accreditation from NBEMS for a period of five years.

Beginning in 2020, NBEMS will require accredited departments to submit an application form in the required format for examination of their ongoing accreditation in relation to the minimum accreditation requirements.

The third year of the accreditation cycle is when you must submit this Annual Review application form (previously the hospitals were required to submit the Annual Review application form in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of accreditation cycle).

Fees:

Each recognised department that is submitting an annual review application for the first time during the continuing accreditation cycle of five years must pay the following fee at the time of submission. According to the current requirements, the Annual Review application must be submitted just once during the accreditation cycle of 05 years (third year of accreditation), hence only one charge of Rs. 30,000 + GST @ 18% needs to be paid.

Each recognised department that has already submitted an Annual Review Application at least once during the current Accreditation Cycle is required to pay the following cost. However, submitting an application for the annual review is NOT necessary:
