Thanks for this useful article. It is a shame and lost opportunity that babies and children are not included. It seems very common now for babies to be given a PPI for ‘colic’ and other ‘normal’ infant feeding issues labelled as reflux rather than posseting where the published evidence that this is due to abnormal stomach acid or even benefits from a PPI seems scarce.
