Eligibility Criteria –
1. Candidates interested in the BAMS/BHMS counseling must qualify for the NEET (UG)-2022 with a valid rank.
2. The candidate must be at least 17 years of age as of 31.12.2022.
3. For State Quota seats, the candidate’s parents must be permanent natives of Odisha. During certificate verification, every candidate must produce a Resident / Nativity certificate (Form No.-III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha). However, there will be no requirement for any domicile certificate for allotment and admission in AIQ seats of Private Institutions.
4. The candidate must have passed +2 Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually. They must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Sc. level for General Candidate (GE). The criterion of minimum marks for eligibility is relaxed to 40% for SC/ST candidates.
Process of counseling –
1. All the candidates who are interested in taking part in the BHMS/BAMS Counselling-cum-Admission process and who satisfy the eligibility mentioned above criteria must register online on the website of OJEE, i.e., www.ojee.nic.in by creating their Username and Password.
2. The candidates have to fill up the online registration form, fill in the choice of preference, lock the choice, and may take a printout of the same for their future reference. During registration, the candidate must pay an amount of Rs. 1000 online as a non-refundable counseling/registration fee.
3. The candidates, who get provisional allotment in the first round, have to deposit, as the part-admission fee, an amount of Rs 5000 online in the candidate’s login portal. Candidates have to pay the differential amount during admission at their respective institutes.
4. The candidates, who get provisional allotment, also have to exercise the option of freeze or float and upload scanned copies of their original documents for online verification.
The list of documents to be uploaded –
1. 10th board certificate and mark sheet
2. +2 Sc. pass certificate and mark sheet
3. College/School leaving certificate
4. Nativity/Resident certificate of Odisha (Form–III, See Rule-3 of Govt. of Odisha)
5. SC/ST Certificate by birth, issued by the competent authority, Government of Odisha (See Rule-8(I)) (if applicable)
6. Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department, Government of Odisha. (if applicable)
7. EWS Certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)
Process of choice locking after registration –
1. The candidates need to log in to their page using the correct user id (NEET UG– 2022 roll number) and password (that they have generated).
2. The candidates need to read the top menu buttons of the page opened.
3. Among many buttons, click “available choices.”
4. The candidates can see the list of choices they will select.
5. to exercise choices, click “fill choices.”
6. Left window shows the available choices.
7. The candidates can select the option of their preference. “First select the best choice and then second preference and so on.”
8. Choices candidates selection will be displayed on the proper widow.
9. Verify the order of filled choices per preference in the right window.
10. Make any changes to the filled choices to exercise the correct preference the candidates want.
11. Use “save and continue” as often to save the job you are doing.
12. After completion, if the candidates want to see the choices filled, click “save and exit.”
13. On this page, the top menu, “the “lock choice” option, is also available. The candidate can use any of the above two options to go to a new page
14. In the new page opened, the candidates can see the list of choices filled by them in order of preference.
15. If the candidates are satisfied with the choices selected and want to lock, then at the bottom of this page, they will find the option “lock.” Click here.
16. If candidates opt “back” to modify the choices, they may go back, rearrange and modify the choices.
17. Locking the choices: when choice locking is enabled, choices given by the candidates can be locked by their password.
18. If the candidates cannot lock their choices, their last filled choice shall be automatically locked in the server at the closing of choice filling/locking.

Reservations –
State Quota Seats –
The reservation policy of the Government of Odisha will be followed for selection. The reservations for different categories shall be as follows: Scheduled Tribe (ST) 12%, Scheduled Caste (SC) 8%, Physically Challenged (PC) 5%, Ex-Servicemen (ES) 3%, Green Card Holders (GC) 5% and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (10 %), wherever applicable.
AIQ Seats –
All AIQ UG seats of Private Institutes are open. However, category-wise relaxation in the qualifying criterion shall be provided.
Process for online allotment –
The first round of allotment –
1. In the first round, all registered candidates are provisionally allotted seats based on their merit (NEET Rank) and choices exercised. Reservations shall be considered as per the candidate’s declaration during registration.
2. After provisional allotment, these candidates have to deposit, as part- of the admission fee, an amount of Rs 5000 online in the candidate’s login portal, exercise the option of ”freeze” or ”float” and upload scanned copies of their original documents, as listed in Section C: List of Documents, for online verification and settle any query, if any, raised by the Verifying Officer within the specified date and time.
3. Candidates, who successfully get their documents verified, are considered for 2nd round of allotment as per their category and sub-category.
4. Candidates who do not complete the steps defined in (2) above are disqualified and will not be considered further for online admission.
5. Candidates who fail to produce relevant documents for their category or sub-category they have claimed will be disqualified from their temporary allotment and considered as general candidates in the subsequent round of allotment.
The second round of allotment –
1. This round of allotment will be made after document verification of the candidates who have got allotment in the first round.
2. Candidates who do not make online fee payments and/or do not comply with the online document verification process after the first round of allotment will be eliminated from the online process.
3. Candidates, who get fresh allotment in this round, must make online fee payments and complete the online document verification process as explained before.
4. The candidates who have already been allotted seats in the first round of allotment and have verified their documents earlier need not do the same again. Auto-upgradation is applicable while making allotment in this round. Candidates, who exercise the ”freeze” option, will be automatically upgraded as per their choice, rank, and vacancy available.
Auto-upgradation and final allotment letter –
If, at the end of 2nd round of counseling, a vacancy still exists for any reason, upgradation / internal sliding among existing candidates who have given the willingness to be in the “float” option will be processed. After this, candidates can download their Final Allotment Letter and be advised to report at their respective institutes.
Spot admission –
Spot Counseling will be conducted if any vacancy arises after candidates report to allotted Institutes. The procedure and schedule for spot counseling will be notified later.

Candidates are advised to contact individual Institutes to
ascertain their Fee Structure while filling in and locking choices. The fee structure
will be displayed on the OJEE website as and when information on the matter is
obtained from the appropriate authorities.
