Anil Mittal to hold charge of Registrar cum Secretary of PCI

New Delhi: Through a recent circular, the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has notified that beginning on December 1, 2022, Shri Anil Mittal, PCI’s Deputy Secretary, will hold the charge of Registrar-cum-Secretary due to Voluntary Retirement taken by Smt. Archna Mudgal, Registrar-cum-Secretary, PCI.

In a circular published on December 1, PCI informed that any future correspondence be sent to Shri Anil Mittal, (I/C) Registrar/Secretary.

“Due to Voluntary Retirement taken by Smt. Archna Mudgal, Registrar-cum-Secretary, PCI, Shri Anil Mittal, Deputy Secretary will hold the charge of Registrar-cum-Secretary w.e.f. 01.12.2022 (forenoon). All future correspondence may kindly be addressed to – Shri Anil Mittal, (I/C) Registrar-cum-Secretary NBCC Centre, 3rd Floor, Plot No.2, Community Centre Maa Anandamai Marg Okhla Phase I NEW DELHI – 110 020 E-mail: [email protected], Phone: 011-61299900, 011-61299901, 011-61299902, 011-61299903”, the notice read.

The Pharmacy Council of India is the statutory body under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. It is constituted under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. Dr. Montukumar Patel is elected as new president.

The PCI secretary-cum-registrar is in charge of creating, maintaining, updating, and publishing the Central Register in compliance with the Act’s provisions and as directed by the Council from time to time.

Along with other duties, the official is in charge of controlling and managing the office, the accounting, and the correspondence, as well as ensuring the security of the Council’s property. The secretary/registrar is also responsible with attending meetings of the council, executive committee, and any committee and documenting the proceedings.
