Maha Doctor couple Stock Market themed wedding card invites investors to mergers

Mumbai: Taking wedding invitations to a whole new level, a doctor couple from Maharashtra has gained amazing reactions from the netizens for their unique yet clever idea of inviting guests to their marriage by referring to them as ‘investors’. The wedding invitation card has gone viral in no time. 

Ahead of the wedding season, the competition for making something unique and out of the box has always been at the front. However, the case of this couple has crossed all the limits of uniqueness and people are going crazy over the idea.

On the wedding card, the couple introduced themselves as Dr Sandesh as Medicine Ltd and Dr Divya, Anaesthesia Ltd, and decided to keep their wedding card theme as “Stock market”. The card was titled IPO (Invitation of Precious Occasion) instead of Initial Public Offering which invoked stock market titans.

Addressing their guest as investors, the card termed both the bride and groom as entities, calling the wedding ceremony a merger, their parents as promoters, sangeet’ as ringing bell, ‘reception’ becomes ‘interim dividend payout’, ‘phera’ is ‘listing ceremony’ and names of popular investors like Jhunjhunwala, Warren Buffett, and Harshdayal Mehta were also mentioned on the invite.

Undoubtedly, the invitation card’s unique style captured many people’s attention. The extraordinary card was posted by the stock market India and captioned “Marriage invitation card of a doctor who seems to be a die-hard fan of stock market…read from the 1st line which is in Hindi.”

Upon being viral on social media, netizens went crazy over the idea and appreciated the couple for their sense of humour. Many laughed over the next-level invitation card.

“Given the synergies of the merger, the merged entities shall be listed in compliance with the regulatory norms (Hindu Tradition). Retail investors (family and friends) are invited to attend the listing ceremony and invest their blessings in the merged entities,” it added.
