Tamil Nadu: The Director of Medical Education (DME Tamil Nadu) released
the seat matrix for PG Degree/Diploma course 2022-2023 in government medical
colleges and self-financing colleges (government quota).
As per the notice, 73 seats are available for the government
quota, including government colleges and self-financing colleges.

Eligibility criteria –
1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Candidate who has completed MBBS from an institution in the state and is a bona fide resident of Tamil Nadu.
3. Candidate who has completed MBBS from any institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
4. It is mandatory to complete a compulsory Rotatory Residential internship on or before 31st March 2022.
5. The candidate has to be NEET PG qualified.
NEET PG 2022/NEET MDS 2022 is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS/PG Diploma/MDS courses of the 2022-23 admission session. No other entrance exam is considered for admission to the courses. Both exams are conducted once a year.
The Department of Medical Education plays a pivotal role in developing medical and para-medical personnel to cater to the state’s health needs. The department also has a role to play in establishing and maintaining well-equipped teaching institutions, which are the premier referral centers with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Research is another area of activity for the Medical Education Department.
Recently Medical Dialogues team reported that DME extended the date of joining up to 30th November 2022, 5:00 pm for NEET UG round 2 candidates. The selected candidate has to pay the Tuition Fee, as fixed by the Fee Committee, for downloading the Provisional allotment order online via Debit Card / Credit Card/Net Banking or RTGS. The selected candidates who already paid the tuition fee in round 1 of online counseling only have to pay the difference (if any) amount.
