DME MP Extemps Compulsory Security Fee Payment For ST Candidates For Round 2 MBBS, BDS Courses

Madhya Pradesh:  The Director of Medical Education (DME MP) informed about the exemption of compulsory security fee deposit for round 2 for MBBS and BDS admission.

As per the notice, for ST candidates for round 2, compulsory security for choice filling has been removed. The candidates can now submit their willingness for round 2 without making them pay a security fee.

The notice states, “this is to inform participating candidates of ST category of the second round that compulsory security fee for choice filling in the second round has been removed and now willing candidates can do choice filling without payment.”

All candidates must do fresh choice filling who want to participate in round 2, including admitted candidates of the first round who have opted for up-gradation.

A seat-leaving bond will be applicable if a candidate wishes to resign. The resignation will be at the admitted college level.

Eligibility criteria –

1. The candidates must be 17 as of 31st December 2022.

2. The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.

3. The candidates must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

4. The candidates have to be NEET UG qualified.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh, is responsible for conducting the MP NEET UG 2022 admission. The DME will conduct NEET UG 2022 counseling for 85% of state quotas in government colleges as well as 100% of seats in private colleges. The remaining 15% of seats will be filled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) through centralized counseling in 2022.

The medical education department plays a pivotal role in developing medical and paramedical personnel to cater to the state’s health needs. In addition, the directorate facilitates comprehensive medical and dental education via various medical, dental, and paramedical colleges in the state.
